 I Introduce myself

I was Born in 1950, I live and work in the beautiful city 'of Verona.

Barbed wire, a cross, a star key chains, scorched paint, rusty nails, a cartridge case of '91 and other gadgets made up my first work with the recovered material around, presented to a school competition in 1965. Too modern for the caryatids that then occupied the chairs, did not win any awards, but coming home, jokingly offering it on the street, I had the satisfaction of selling it to a passing architect for the equivalent of a month's pocket money.

I’m an Extimathor of Pop Art, Enrico Baj , Futurism.

Arcimboldo , Goldoni, Baudelaire, Andy Warrol, all great artists on whose works I have been for long time.

The attendance of some artists for more or less long periods, enriched my store of knowledge;

Above them all , I want to remind Carlo Sessa who teach me the rudiments of sculpture and Claudio Ciancia, dear mad friend, in whose studio in Milan we used to talk of Radon and Fractals, drinking wine and eating bread and salami.

In the short time available, I always created works using waste materials; objetcts that I have always given to friends, many of whom have dissolved over time because of my frequent travels. I always loved to make revive old useless objects, making them decorative works.

My eclectic choice of various occupations over the years

( to name a few : photographer -Entrepreneur in “Protezione Civile” –antique dealer ,strictly in Murano glass protector, restorer-driver-warehouseman ), and the passion of “collector of anything” , led me to possess a considerable stock, which I continuously enrich.

The various techniques of many different processes, acquired over time, are now an important wealth of experience to which I draw continuously in this artistic activity

The frequent use of sands, resins, various types of dust, metal filings, sometimes mixed with each other and fixed with adhesives and gels, according to techniques studied and tested over time, are a feature of many of my works.

Appliances, waste of blacksmiths, of carpenters, glasses picked or dug in Murano , clocks, old radios, mirrors, pieces of furniture, keys, cutlery, boxes, caps of various origins, hardware, stones, are just some of the materials I use in my works.

 The colors are mostly water and ecological, mostly scraps or redundancies of a Friend’s paint factory.
